About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Flexcube Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in Oracle Banking Applications upgrades. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the client during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, helping them effectively use the upgraded applications and resolving any issues that arise. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve root causes quickly, a collaborative mindset, and deep expertise in Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking Suite (FCUBS) and related modules.
Responsibilities
- ✓Requirement Gathering for Issue Resolution: Engage with end-users to understand their expectations, gather detailed insights on reported issues for accurate troubleshooting. Translate user feedback into functional requirements that guide resolution efforts.
- ✓Functional Support : Provide comprehensive functional support during UAT, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues within Oracle FCUBS 14.3, ELCM 14.3, and OBPM 14.5. Work closely with development teams to investigate root causes and resolve issues efficiently.
- ✓Implementation and Troubleshooting Skills : Hands-on experience with Flexcube implementations, including configuration, customization, and system upgrades. Strong troubleshooting abilities for resolving functional issues and providing solutions that enhance system performance and user satisfaction.
- ✓Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts, project teams, and business users to address UAT challenges, offering functional guidance and ongoing support to facilitate a smooth testing and resolution process.
- ✓Oracle FCUBS Modules Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of Oracle FCUBS modules (such as BASE, Branch (RT & UP), CASA, Loans, Corporate Deposits, Term Deposit, Securities, and ATM/POS Interface) to ensure accurate and efficient resolution of issues and alignment with client requirements.
Requirements
- 2 To 10 years of hands-on experience.
- Oracle Banking Applications Expertise: Strong understanding of Oracle Banking Applications, particularly in the context of version upgrades and data migration processes.
- Functional & Technical Skills: Solid functional knowledge of Oracle Banking Applications combined with technical skills, including PL/SQL and Java, to support detailed troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Analytical & Problem-solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Domain Expertise: Prior experience with Oracle Banking Applications, particularly during version upgrades and migration processes.
