About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced JBPM Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business process workflows using JBPM. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers to build process-driven applications and automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- ✓Design and develop workflow solutions using JBPM 7.x (or later).
- ✓Integrate JBPM with Java EE/Spring Boot applications.
- ✓Develop custom task handlers, work item handlers, and service integrations.
- ✓Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand workflow requirements.
- ✓Create and maintain BPMN2 process models and decision tables.
- ✓Implement human task management, process monitoring, and exception handling.
- ✓Write unit and integration tests for JBPM processes.
- ✓Optimize and troubleshoot existing business process workflows.
- ✓Support deployment and maintenance of JBPM applications in production.
Requirements
- 2 To 10 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong experience with JBPM (preferably version 7.x).
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs.
- Familiarity with BPMN 2.0 standards.
- Hands-on experience with Drools (rules engine).
- Experience in building rule-based or process-based applications.
- Knowledge of KIE Server, KIE Workbench, and Business Central.
- Experience integrating JBPM with databases and other enterprise systems.
- Good understanding of workflow lifecycle, event handling, and asynchronous processing.
- Knowledge of Camunda or other BPM tools.
- Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Git).
